Bellingham’s digital Big Buck Hunters

There are three bars in Bellingham that have a Big Buck Hunter machine. Big Buck Hunter can be played with one to four players, and costs $1 to $3 per player, per game, depending on if you are playing the casual or ranked mode. Kat Chawkins has been playing Big Buck Hunter for just under a year. She sits at the 80th spot on the Big Buck Hunter Global Skill Leaderboard as of July 28, 2024.

Fairhaven fundraiser brings community closer together

On the third floor of the historic Fairhaven Mason Block building, a small room is filled with art. The oak-colored floors are warm with footsteps as people gather, sharing stories and hugs. Megan Velthuizen, a local Bellingham artist, lost all but one of her original art pieces in the Dec. 16, 2023 fire that ravaged the historic Fairhaven Terminal Building.
