Western Washington University’s College of Fine and Performing Arts is putting together the famous musical stylings of “Cabaret,” a musical that takes place in the 1930s in a Berlin nightclub. Musical numbers include "Willkommen," "Cabaret," "Don't Tell Mama" and "Two Ladies."

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on students. Not only are they not experiencing in-person classes, but those who are finishing up their education won’t walk across the stages to receive their diplomas.
Lawnstock, Western's outdoor spring festival, will bring students together on the Communications Facility lawn and listen to live music while enjoying free food, games and other activities. There won’t be live musical performers as the pandemic winds down, but KUGS 89.3 FM Radio will provide a livestream, and games like cornhole and other activities will be provided along with squared off areas for students to gather with their small group of friends on campus.
Western Washington University’s five-acre organic Outback Farm was designated an essential business throughout the pandemic, allowing continued operation of the student-led organization to provide the community with produce from their garden.
