The Western women’s basketball team made it to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference with high hopes, but ended up falling short of a conference title when they lost in the championship game.
The Western women’s softball team set a school record this weekend when they finished second to Humboldt State University in the gold bracket at the Tournament of Champions hosted by California State University, Stanislaus.
Hopes were high at the beginning of the season.
