Hitting the links with Daniel Lai

Daniel qi jue Lai was born in Guangzhou, China. After his sophomore year of high school, he moved to Victoria, British Columbia, when he was 16 years old. There, he finished his junior and senior years of high school before attending Langara College for two years in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Updated COVID-19 protocols frustrates student-athletes

On Jan. 12, student-athletes from Western’s basketball and volleyball teams met in Sam Carver Gymnasium with Melynda Huskey, the Vice President of Enrollment and Student Services, to discuss how the new protocols have negatively impacted the teams. They also expressed their frustration over how quickly the decisions were made.

Lights, camera, 'Cabaret!'

Western Washington University’s College of Fine and Performing Arts is putting together the famous musical stylings of “Cabaret,” a musical that takes place in the 1930s in a Berlin nightclub. Musical numbers include "Willkommen," "Cabaret," "Don't Tell Mama" and "Two Ladies."
