The Associated Students Board of Directors reviewed the 2019 Budget Recommendations and other fee changes on Friday, May 18.

Western is establishing an undergraduate degree in Marine, Coastal and Watershed Sciences. The Washington Legislature approved $1.3 million for the integrated program, according to the Washington Government Office of Program Research.

CW: Sexual harassment. Posters calling Paul Stangl, a Huxley College environmental studies professor, a "sexual predator" were hung up around campus on the morning of Friday, May 11. The posters were removed by University Police the same day, Paul Cocke, director of communications and marketing, said.
