Western Washington University’s men’s rugby team took a tough loss to end their 15s season against the University of San Diego (USD) on Saturday, April 19. With the loss, Western failed to advance to the CRAA D1AA 15s National Championship.
Mark MacDonald and Hunter Warren are ready to come back to their alma mater. Across the board, there is one thing they are seeking: more wins. The Vikings’ season will start during fall quarter following tryouts in early September.
Starting in the spring of 2023, this victory expresses their progress as a club.

After spending five months practicing judo in Japan, senior Nathan Swanson-Dinsmore returned to the U.S. with a reinvigorated passion for the sport and an ambition to revitalize the judo club that once thrived on campus.
Playing with the boys has never been an issue for freshman Anna Stensland. Having spent the better part of her youth as the only girl on her co-ed team in the Seattle Junior Hockey Association, Stensland has no trouble competing at whatever level she is placed in.
