Lights, camera, 'Cabaret!'

Western Washington University’s College of Fine and Performing Arts is putting together the famous musical stylings of “Cabaret,” a musical that takes place in the 1930s in a Berlin nightclub. Musical numbers include "Willkommen," "Cabaret," "Don't Tell Mama" and "Two Ladies."

Noise Complaint on Hallopalooza

Doors opened with a buzz of chaos and conversation at the Karate Church for the first ever Hallopalooza, a Halloween-themed concert starring bands such as Roland Olayvar, Laamb, Iggy Poop, Jade Matcha and Analog Brass. Analog Brass was also joined by singers Ebony Harris and Martii MC-Fly.

Bassoon Apocalypse concert returns to Western

The Western Washington University Bassoon Ensemble will be reviving the Bassoon Apocalypse concert this fall after a year off due to COVID-19. The concert will take place on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center room 155, the Concert Hall. The event is free for all Western students.

Can papier-mâché heal trauma?

Crayola crayons and papier-mâché. When we were young we created our own art galleries that were stuck with magnets to the fridge. Now, we eat, sleep and work. We feel stressed all the time and we call it being an adult.

"Material Mind" exhibition has begun

After a year of hard work and conceptualization, graduating Western Washington University students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program will finally get the chance to present their thesis projects to the public from now until June 11.
