PHOTO STORY: A Western Halloween special

From a banana man to Jesus Christ, WWU students came to play

Western Washington University students showed up and showed out this Halloween with an array of elaborate costumes. Amid the chaos of midterms, students proved they still had tricks up their sleeves, treating the campus to a festive display.

Some costumes were recognizable, such as the Mandalorian or the Devil. Others were more obscure – Harrier Du Bois from the video game “Disco Elysium” and Franken Stein from the manga and anime “Soul Eater” were among this mix. Regardless, costume-goers brightened up a cloudy October day, and candy and cheer were enjoyed by all.
