Compiled by Claudia Cooper Men’s soccer shut out Northwest Nazarene University 3-0 on Thursday, Oct. 25. This was their second shutout victory against Northwest Nazarene this season. The Vikings kept up their winning streak with a win of 5-1 against Seattle Pacific on Saturday, Oct. 27. Their overall record is now 9-6-1 and the team has now moved into second place in conference with 5-4-1 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Women’s soccer also shutout Northwest Nazarene 2-0 earlier on Thursday, Oct. 25, continuing their winning streak. The team took the number one seat in conference after a 2-1 win against Montana State Billings on Saturday, Oct. 27. This was their final game before they will play GNAC conference championship. With now a 12-game winning streak, the Vikings overall record is 15-2-1 and 10-1-1 in GNAC. Women’s volleyball is still seated at number two in the nation as they continued their winning streak with a victory against Simon Fraser 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 23. The team continued to dominate with another win over Montana State Billings 3-0 on Thursday, Oct. 25, moving their winning streak to 21 games in a row. The women’s overall score is 21-3 and ranked number one in GNAC conference with a record of 16-0. Men and Women’s soccer will both face off Simon Fraser on Thursday, Nov. 1, as the women will compete for the conference championship in Portland and the men will be playing at Harrington Field. Women’s volleyball will face off against Western Oregon in Carver Gym on Thursday, Nov. 1.
