The Bellingham Police Department received a report about a man seen carrying a gun near campus at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2016, according to a Western Alert. The man was heading north at 22nd and Douglas Streets. The man was described as a white male in his 20s of medium build, wearing a ballistic vest and a black assault rifle, according to the alert.
