I am still in fear of catching a cold. I cannot afford to get sick. So while my entire family is coughing up a lung, I’m living in a hazmat suit. I’m kidding. Well kind of. I will say my hands have become incredibly dry from the amount of washing I have done. This brings me to this week, another place, another bowl of soup. I know I know, soup seems like a cop-out when it comes to vegan/gluten free/ dietary needs, but in my defense, soup is really good! And it’s supposed to help with not getting sick. Or so I’m told. I decided to venture out to Ginger Boat. Located in Sehome Village, this restaurant offers all kinds of delicious food. Now I am not one who normally cares an incredible amount about customer service, in the grand scheme of things it’s kind of low. With that being said, the waiters and waitresses here are absolutely incredible. I don’t remember the last time I visited a restaurant and someone was so personable and kind. Really refreshing! But that was just the cherry on top of the whole experience. The atmosphere in Ginger Boat is really nice. When you enter you feel like you are in some cool hip bar in Ballard or in Portland. I’m a sucker for aesthetic.
